When to use this tool
Resize images to fit a website, document, or sharing requirement. Reducing dimensions can save space; enlarging an image does not add original detail.

Frequently asked questions
How do I resize an image without stretching it?
Keep the aspect ratio enabled and change just the width or height. The other dimension follows the original proportions. For a fixed box with different proportions, crop in an editor instead of stretching.
Will a larger image have more detail?
No. Upscaling creates additional pixels based on the existing ones. It cannot recover missing detail; use the largest original you have for printing or large displays.
Are my files uploaded or stored?
The conversion happens in your browser. Keep the original files and save your downloads before closing the page. Learn how local processing protects your images.
