How file privacy works

Your images are processed locally

When you select an image, the conversion tools read it in your browser. Image decoding, resizing, rotation, and encoding run on your device. The conversion code does not send the selected image contents to a server.

Temporary files and downloads

The tools keep temporary image data and previews in browser memory while you work. Clearing a selection or leaving a tool releases its temporary file links. Save the results before closing the page; there is no server-side archive from which we can retrieve your conversions.

Your original files remain on your device. Downloaded copies are saved by your browser to the location you choose.

Website requests and analytics

Your browser still contacts the website to load pages, scripts, and the image codecs. This site includes Vercel Web Analytics to understand visits and page usage. The conversion tools do not pass selected file contents or file names to that analytics integration.

For details about the analytics service's collection and handling of visit data, read Vercel's analytics privacy documentation.

No account needed

You can use the conversion tools without creating an account or providing an email address. Large images and batches use your device's memory and processing power, so practical limits vary between devices.
